Chapter 6- Earpieces

   I was woken up suddenly by a cold hand rested on my neck. I jumped up as a cold bucket of water was poured over and my head and I screamed and shivered. Goose bumps appeared on my  arms as I heard laughing behind me. I spun round expecting, Ryan, but it was a boy I had never seen before. "What do you think you're doing?! I'll get back at you whoever you are." I said with a growl. "Sorry Miss. I thought you were someone else..." "Don't call me Miss will ya!" I shouted, getting very mad. He then said "Sorry Miss..." He stopped talking when I gave him a glare. If looks could kill I thought.
  I was soaking and walked towards the door, dripping with water. I just then saw a sign that said "Sleeping Problems. Room 17." "What the heck?" I thought. Why am I in a Sleeping Problem room? Then, I remembered falling asleep, in the top secret meeting. Wait, no. I was hit hard in the head, by someones fist. Dave's! I suddenly remembered everything. We were sitting in the room when a huge ear shattering boom came from above. Then a person wrapped in black, covering even it's nose. Then he said "Importants of Light Chesna, give me her." He was pointing at me. Then he said "Or I'll make her give information and I'll torture her till she gives me the information we need. And then I'll kill her if she is uncooperative. " Then I remember Dave saying "She isn't going anywhere." Then the person in black said "I'll kill her now then." Till that moment I had tried to keep myself together, but when I though of being killed and the agony, I gasped. "You wouldn't be able to kill her. She'd get away. She is like the Black Widow in the Avengers. I'd watch out if I were you." That had been Kaka and you know what I am pretty good, with all that practice over the last 10, 11 years. Then the black man said "I'll inject her with my syrup, my Jak Syrup. She'll then tell me and Hell everything." "Not if she's knocked out or asleep." Dave blurted. "Yes your right. But sad for you, she is perfectly awake." The black man said in a creepy voice, the ones in those horror movies with the vampires, their mouths dripping with blood and their little pointy noses. Then Dave had come over to me. He whispered "Sorry." I didn't know what he was saying sorry for, but then I knew when it came. He had hit me full in the head.
   I reached my hand to the spot where he whacked me. There was a bump, but it was luckily covered by my dark blond, almost brown hair. Or as some people say to annoy me, dirty blonde with a bit of dirt brown. Nice, ah? As I reached my hand back down from my head, I was reaching for the door, when that boy, who poured ice cold water on me, which was why I was soaking, opened the door for me. "What a jerk. You think your gonna get away from pay back by being nice. No such luck boy." I nodded as I went out the door and then when he was about to come out, I did a combat move I learned from Kaka. I lifted my  foot backwards, reaching my arms to hold it like a ballerina and then quickly moving it back and out. I got the boy right in the face. Then as he dared to come out, I lifted my foot and pushed him back onto his back by kicking him in the chest. Finally, as he reached blindly for the doorknob to help himself up, I slammed the door shut. I heard a groan inside. "That's what you get when you mess with me." I thought. I knew that sounds a bit mean, but still I got my anger out and now I felt so much better. I knew someday I would apologize. But that someday or sometime was not now. I mean why would a girl kick someone down and then say sorry? It would be a very awkward conversation.
   I started down the hall and bumped into Daniel! Before I could say anything, thoughts rushed through my head. I hadn't even thought about him the past few days. I hadn't even asked about him to anyone. In fact, I totally forgot about him. But of course, I wasn't going to say that to him. I just hugged him and said "How are you? What have you been doing? I've been wondering." He replied saying "Well in fact, I have been upgraded to first group corp." I gave him a confuzzled look. "Well, you know all the Importants including you?" He then asked me. I started reciting them. "Well I see you do. Well, they have to have a top spy. So, because I was being forced by Hell to work for him they are using me to go against him and give them all the information I can. And because I've been in the spy team for a while and in training, that is why they upgraded me." I could tell in the silence, he wanted me to say something, something nice, and at least say something like "Oh, I'm so proud of you.", but the truth is, I couldn't say it. I cant say things I don't actually mean. So I said "Well. Good job. See ya. I'm called to IM." IM stands for Importants Meeting. I could then see he was a little disopointed. I guess he expected me to say something brilliant. I could tell by the expression in his face. "Well by then." He blurted out. I started walking away and he started the other way.
    Then in my earpiece, a sound, a voice. It was the same voice as the man dressed in black that barged into the Top Secret Meeting and Dave knocked me out. I screamed and fell to the floor. Dave was coming down the stairs and came running and Daniel came running up the stairs back to me. "What is it?" Dave said in his soothing calm voice. "It is the voice, the voice of the guy dressed in black that broke into our Top Secret Meeting, the one where you knocked me out." I said. He went to pull out my earpiece, but it was stuck. It wouldn't come out. I heard Daniel and Dave both swear under their breath. I was soon screaming in terrible fear of this man's voice. Though I did managed a whisper to Dave "Is it? Is it? Is it stuck for good?"
