Chapter 7- Questions and Answers

    I woke up. It was all dark around me. I was scared. Super terrified for a matter a fact. I made out figure in the darkness. It was Dave with his huge shoulders, five times bigger then mine. I felt safe. So, I was still in safety. Few I thought. Dave noticed I was awake. He went over to a control panel and flipped the latch up and typed in a code. The lights suddenly went on. He came over to me and said "How are you?" I replied in a weak voice "I'm OK, but this ear really hurts." I reached my hand up to my ear. The earpiece was gone. The voice gone! I felt so happy, happier than anything to get away from that voice. Dave shattered my happiness though. He began talking. "You see, when you had that earpiece in your ear someone had somehow glued it to your ear. I don't know where that crazy guy is right now, because he escaped at the Top Secret Meeting. And I don't know what type of glue it was, but we did have to perform a little surgery." "What?" I blurted. "Surgery? Surgery  What did you do? Tell me." "The surgeons had to go into your ear to somehow un-glue the earpiece from your ear. One of the surgeons while trying to get it out, accidentally pressed against your ear drum, making you go part deaf in one ear. So then, they had to perform another surgery. So, your ear might hurt a little." he explained. "And Jane, do you know or remember anyone being with you in a room when you woke up, doing something weird or strange?" She was about to say no, but then she remembered. That boy. "That boy!" she exclaimed. I woke up in that room, the sleeping problems room, something like that, from a boy pouring ice cold water on me. He said he thought I was someone else. Oh, and why was I in a sleeping problem room?" I shouted. "First of all, you were in that room because it was one if the safe rooms deeper down where a guard could do double duty. Look after your room and the one next to it. So, back to the boy. He was in your room with no one else around?" "Ya." I answered. "What did he look like?" Dave asked curiously. "Um... blonde, brown hair, blue eyes, about my height, maybe around age, well I'm 16, so maybe 17. I just called him boy because I didn't know his name, but he's not really a boy because boy are from 11 or 12 and younger..." Dave interrupted me. "Why, aren't there video cameras in that room? Let's go to the PSCR." I guess he might have seen my confused expression, so he explained more. "PSCR stands for Private Security Camera Reach. The room is about 40 floors down and only certain people can go in it. Mostly the Importants. Let's go now." I didn't answer just got up and followed him out the door.
    We took the elevator 30 floors down, then took, a door which to get through you had to type in a code. Then after that go through multiple security checks, including eye scanning, finger print scanners and all of that. Then we came to some stairs and went down ten more floors. Finally, we came to a huge metal structure. All around this  structure were video cameras. We then walked up to the door and Dave typed in code after code after code. Then a metal pole came out of the structure, scanning our eyes yet again. Then a big piece of the metal structure slid to the side and we went in.
   I had never been to this room before and was amazed. There we TV screens every where you looked, every square inch. A person who works in this department is assigned to 3 screens each. I would guess there are about 40 people in this department. I followed Dave over to a man with pink hair, extremely natural looking. He was in charge of 8 rooms instead of 3, but then I saw he was the President of this Department, so that makes sense. I was looking at each screen very closely and realized something. All his screens, were my rooms. Next, there was this sign above his screen made out of silver. It read President Inke of PSCR. Screens change depending on Snow Pegasus's location. "What my location?" Dave and Inke both looked at me. "You look into each room I'm in?" I then noticed there was a blue lever to the side of it saying Emergency Snow Pegasus. "And there, you have a lever for me, that you would pull if I was endanger? And if you have a screen for where I am, and can always see me, why didn't you pull the lever when someone glued a earpiece into my ear, terrifying me? Huh, huh?" I was now furious. Inke started talk. He had an animated voice, a sweet voice, like a little kid at the fair, but it didn't help me get past my furriness. "I have been watching you every minute including when you knocked that 17 year old down on the floor and slammed the door on him. I was watching every minute he was in that room and he did not glue anything to your ear!" he was becoming angry now too.
    There was a lot of silence, it felt like hours before I spoke up. "Wait, if you have been watching me every minute I have been here, I have had no privacy at all? Well that's nice... Wait! But if you have been watching me every minute, how could someone have glued my earpiece to my ear without you seeing?" "I'm sorry that your mad about the privacy thing. But your point about the gluing thing, is a good one. I don't know how, how someone could of done all that without me seeing." "Also, one more other thing Inke. Who is that 17 year old?" "His name is Malcom." he replied. "He's actually 17. He is a very important part in our force. When he was in high position in Light Chesna, he was captured by Hell. Taken as a spy and was threatened if he didn't help Hell's spy force that Hell would kill him personally. Gloriana with her powers and things, she was able to rescue him. He has been helping with surgeries, having personal training sessions with his trainer Hatwhy, and going out to spy on Hell. He works with your brother." "What? With my brother? Weird, but why did he poor a bucket of ice water on my head?" I shouted. "That was to wake you up." Inke replied. "And you better make things up to him because you will be working with him." Dave added. I could feel I was bright red in the face and felt like I was about to start fuming. "Working with Malcom? That perosn? I have better things to do then hang around with people like that. I could just do more training with Kaka. Anyways I'm not that good at being a spy yet either." Inke and Dave both knew that was a lie. "Ok. Fine. I admit it. I am better than ready for being a spy. As Kaka said 'She's like the Black Widow in the Avengers'. And yes, I'll find him and talk to him. Happy now? Can we go Dave?" There was silence, but after a minute Dave replied. "Yes. I think we have just been called to an IM." "Goody!" I thought in my head...
    We were walking back up ten flights of stairs, basically the vice versa of the trip down to the PSCR. I had some many questions, I couldn't help but ask all of them to Dave.  "So, Dave. I have a question for you. Has everyone been sent to there rooms and all the people in the cities of Light Chesna are in the 'hotel' under the Halo?" "Yes. You might have seen some people around yesterday when you fainted, you know when your earpiece was stuck in your ear? Well they were around because they were doing population checks, to make sure everyone was safe and in the Halo or 'hotel'." "I get it now. Just don't remind me of that voice. OK?" I didn't wait for an answer, so I went onto my next question that just came to mind. "So, as Gloriana and Hell are brother and sister, and they must have parents. Where are their parents?"
